Background:
 Ayodeji Emmanuel Oke obtained his B.Tech degree with a first class (Hons.) in Quantity Surveying and completed his Master and PhD degree in the same discipline. He is a Corporate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MNIQS); Member of The Association of South African Quantity Surveyors (MAQS); Associate Member of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Society International, USA (AIEOM); Registered Member of Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (RQS); and Member of Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM). He has over 250 publications in the area of Sustainable Infrastructure Management (SIM) with focus on Sustainable Construction, Quantity Surveying, Value Management and Construction Digitalisation (4IR). These include research books such as Sustainable Value Management for Construction Projects published by Springer nature, Switzerland; Construction Digitalisation: A Capability Maturity Model for Construction Organisations published by Routledge Taylor and Francis, London; Sustainable Construction in the Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution published by Routledge Taylor and Francis, London among others. Globally from Google Scholar rating, he is currently in the top 5 and top 7 of researchers in Quantity Surveying and Value Management respectively. According to research gate, a global online gathering of researchers, he is in the top 10% of researchers globally. He has led various research teams and currently rated Y2 by National Research Foundation of South Africa. He is a reviewer for various local and international reputable Journals. He has supervised several students at undergraduate and postgraduate level and won several awards as well as training and fellowship grants. He is the editor of the Quantity Surveyor (Journal of the Nigerian institute of Quantity Surveyors). He is currently a Senior Research Associate with CIDB Centre of Excellence, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He is also a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Quantity Surveying, Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria.
